Dr. Samir A. Abbas
Dr. Abbas earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Florida before completing his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. He went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia, where he received advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, IV sedation, and dental implant planning, placement, and restoration.
After practicing in Florence, South Carolina, Dr. Abbas relocated to the metro Atlanta area and later practiced in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He joined Cobb Dental Expressions following Dr. Mazzuchelli’s transition out of ownership and continues the practice’s commitment to treating patients like family while providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
With a passion for both working with his hands and serving others, Dr. Abbas views dentistry as an ideal blend of craftsmanship and compassionate care. He is committed to providing exceptional dental services by attentively listening to his patients and delivering treatment with clinical excellence, supported by the latest advancements in dental technology.
Dr. Abbas is dedicated to lifelong learning and actively pursues continuing education to stay current with the evolving field of dentistry.
Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, traveling, playing soccer, snowboarding, swimming, and staying active.
Cyndi Keich, R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist
Cyndi came to our practice in January of 2001 and has been a positive asset to our team. She attended Kennesaw State University and majored in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She received her Associate Dental Hygiene degree from Dekalb College in 1983. She has 25 years experience in dental hygiene and is a gentle yet thorough hygienist. Young or experienced, her patients leave proud to display their newly polished smiles.
Dima Merhi, R.D.H.
Dental Hygienist
Meet our newest Registered Dental Hygienist, Dima Merhi. She earned her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Georgia State University in 2025 and is excited to care for our patients while making every visit comfortable, thorough, and stress‑free. With a gentle touch and a detail‑oriented approach, she is passionate about educating patients on their oral health and building long‑term, trusting relationships.
Outside the practice, Dima loves traveling, going to the beach, exploring new restaurants, a little shopping, and staying active at the gym. It’s her way of keeping life balanced, fun, and full of energy, and she brings that same positive, upbeat spirit to our office every day
Tracy Andrews
Front Desk / Treatment Coordinator
Tracy began her career as a Dental Assistant in 1978. She joined our team in 1980. She brings excitement and energy into the practice along with dedication and organization. She is a team leader and hardworking. She is compassionate about her patients and continues to give her patients quality care.
Renae Holfels
Front Desk / Insurance Specialist
Renae Holfels joined our practice in 2011 and has over 30 years experience in the dental field. She is a native of Kentucky and has been a resident of GA since 2009. In addition to her knowledge pertaining to the dental industry, Renae is a talented painter and crafter. Her passion for design extends into our office as she is central to creating a warm patient care experience.
Jadarius Bryant
Dental Assistant
Jadarius is bright, cheerful and a wonderful addition to our clinical team. Jadarius joined our team in 2026 but has been serving the dental community for over 4 years with excellence. In his free time he enjoys exploring different outdoor fitness adventures, reading, visiting museums and exploring art, history, and culture.
